Fresh off his annual hosting gig at Olympia Weekend, bodybuilding’s reigning king of the podium is showing no signs of slowing down. Following the announcement that the NPC has ended its relationship with the IFBB’s Amateur Federation, there appears to be some exciting opportunities and Bob Cicherillo has positioned himself to take full advantage of them, much to the delight of our friends in the U.K.

Cicherillo is in the advanced planning stages of the inaugural IFBB Pro League Royal London Pro/Am set for this coming spring, shortly after the Arnold Classic (date and venue info will be announced here soon).

Cicherillo explains, “With the changes announced by Jim Manion, this is an exciting time for sponsors, fans, and most importantly, the athletes!”

On a personal note, it’s no secret that I’ve worked closely with Cicherillo over the years. I anticipate this will be one of the year’s biggest and best additions to the schedule. England is a prime location, home to some of bodybuilding’s most historic moments and legendary champions.  I’m hopeful that I can convince my friends Peter McGough, Flex Lewis and Neil Hill to join me on their side of the pond as my official tour guides!!!
