Fit Recipe: High Protein Brownie Blizzard!

I don’t know about ya’ll, but here in Florida it is HOT!!! The summer heat is intense and what a better way to cool off then a delicious, cool, satisfying brownie blizzard.  “But wait Stefanie, what about my abs???”  I hear ya, but don’t worry. Just like all of my recipes, this is a high protein, low carb, NO SUGAR replacement for a typical gut busting dessert.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 scoop beauty whey protein (I’m using vanilla vixen)
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 1.5 cups unsweetened cashew milk
  • 1 BamBody treat (I’m using the BamBody brownie)
  • 1 tsp xanthan gum
  • 1 squirt Jordan’s skinny syrup salted caramel
  • Walden farms chocolate syrup

In a ninja blender or vitamix (you can use whatever blender you have but I find either of these fluff the best) and add ice.

PRO TIP #1: It is VERY important that you add the ingredients in the order listed for best blending.

Next, add the beauty whey followed by the cashew milk. Finally, add in the Jordan’s syrup and xanthan gum.  Blend on high speed for approx. 1 min.

PRO TIP #2: Keep blending until the ice cream looks thick and fluffy.  You may need longer depending on your blender.

Scoop half of the ice cream out into your bowl. Drizzle chocolate syrup around edges (if you use a glass bowl this will be SO beautiful). Scoop out the remainder of the ice cream.  Pick up your Bambody protein brownie ( and break it up over top of your ice cream into little pieces.  Drizzle Walden farms over top of the brownie.

Voila! Now you have it!! An absolutely freaking amazing brownie blizzard. You have approximately 15g carbs here and a fantastically high protein treat!!! Enjoy and come back next time for another fun, healthy treat!
